Five positive results from school screening

Four pupils and one school staff member have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The results were received during the testing programme rolled out for the return of in-school learning.

As of Monday, students and staff from 12 schools had been tested.

The Ministry of Education did not specify which schools the results came from.

Pupils from Victor Scott Primary, Prospect Primary and Purvis Primary School went back to their classrooms today as remote learning is gradually phased out.

Yesterday Gilbert Institute, Port Royal Primary, and West Pembroke Primary, also opened.
