Applications are now being accepted for the Government’s 2022 Graduate Trainee Programme.

The Economic Recovery Plan’s Youth Employment Programme was launched by the Ministry of Labour as a pilot programme in February 2021 with 15 recent college and university graduates enrolled.

Participants received coaching, employability skills training and one-on-one support to develop a “personal brand”.

They also gained industry experience in their chosen area of study while each participants took part in a three-month work placement sponsored by the Department of Workforce Development.

Jason Hayward, the Minister of Labour, said: "The ministry is committed to developing and ensuring opportunity for Bermuda's youth and pleased to offer the programme for the second cohort of recent college graduates."

The department encourages unemployed recent college and university graduates to apply through the Bermuda Job Board at www.bermudajobboard.bm

Applicants must submit an official transcript, a copy of their degree, a written reference and a resume and cover letter highlighting their career goals and interests.

The application deadline is November 10.
