Parents offered chance to learn about UK boarding schools

Parents will have the chance to learn about boarding schools in Britain during an educational fair.

It is being organised by Beach Education, a Bermuda company that offers advice to families looking to send their children to British boarding schools.

A spokeswoman for Beach said: “The UK has an affordable tertiary education system that offers great value when compared to its US counterparts, and UK schooling can make this transition to university education much easier.”

Beach Education, which was founded in 2019, vets schools based on their academic excellence, diversity of extra-curricular activities and class sizes. It also offers support with the British university application process known as UCAS.

The school fairs will be held at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Sunday from 3pm to 7pm and Monday from 1pm to 2pm and 3pm to 6.15pm.

Parents can sign up for the fair through Eventbite, or by visiting the Beach Education website or Facebook page.
