Ms Lee is expected to continue her education this fall at the Howard University College of Dentistry.
Presenting the award, Ewart Brown said that Ms Lee had also contributed to hunger relief initiatives, mentorship programmes and outreach efforts both in Bermuda and abroad.
Dr Brown said: “Education should be regarded as a shared responsibility that benefits the wider community.
“Supporting students such as Ms Lee contributes to Bermuda's long-term wellbeing and resilience. Her focus on equity and service reflects the highest ideals of community leadership.”
In a statement, Ms Lee thanked the Brown family for their support and for investing in her future, stating that her goal is to improve access to oral healthcare in Bermuda and to promote community-based approaches to overall wellness.
