The theme for this year’s competition is “Let’s Grow Together” and participants can win up to $500 in prizes.

This year’s categories are non-traditional garden, small garden, large garden, community garden and school garden.

The contest runs from September 23 to November 25. Participants must send photos of their gardens in between November 21 and 25.

To boost and fine-tune their gardening skills, people can join Chaplin Kevin Santucci’s eight-week gardening workshop, “Grow.Eat.$ave.”
