Fees for disposing of horticultural waste will be waived this week in the wake of Hurricane Fiona, the Ministry of Public Works said.

The waiver remains in place until noon on Saturday, with the regular fees returning from 7.30am next Monday.

Normal operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 4pm, and on Saturday from 7:30am until noon.

A spokesman reminded the public that horticultural waste that is dropped off in private cars can be done so free of charge.
