Kayla Bardgett emerged on top in a seven-horse jump-off to clinch victory at the Equestrian Sports Production Spring Series CSI 3* in Wellington, Florida.

The Bermudian won the low amateur class on Lordanos AK, owned by Melissa Shelley Mello.

Bardgett completed her round with a lead of 3.818sec to cap a sensational winter on the United States equestrian scene.

She will now shift her focus to competing at the Welcome Home Show in Bermuda with locally based horse Causing Chaos.

The show will be held on April 23 and 24 at the Botanical Gardens and features various equestrian disciplines, including jumping, western, carriage driving and harness racing.

Bardgett is the second Bermudian to enjoy success competing in Florida in less than a month after Cody Rego secured multiple titles at the 2022 Wellington Equestrian Festival.

Competing on Tanzanite de Semilly, he won the Platinum Performance/United States Equestrian Federation Show Jumping Talent Search 2* and Class 3092 Washington International Horse Show Jumper Phase Cali events.

He also placed third in the Hunter Phase Cali, which earned him the overall title for Section A.
