Two Bermuda Government banknotes almost a century old were among several locally issued notes sold at auction in London yesterday.

The September 30, 1927, note was described as “astonishingly high-grade” and features the island’s capital.

Its quality was extolled by the Florida-headquartered PMG, the world’s largest third‑party grading service for banknotes.
