Bermuda under-15 women in Bahamas for Goombay Cup
The Bermuda Football Association has sent a team to participate in the Under-15 Girls Goombay Cup in the Bahamas.
A brainchild of the Bahamas Football Association, the tournament will be held at the Roscow AL Davies Field. In addition to Bermuda and the host nation, the tournament will also feature teams from Grenada, Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands.
Head coach Taznae Fubler will lead the team, with the former Bermuda defender eager to see the results of the hard work done by the young girls.
“I have enjoyed working with the girls over the last three years and we are grateful to the Bahamas Football Association for the opportunity,” she said.
“The tournament gives us vital competitive tournament match play as the girls take this important step in their development.”
