Ajani Burchall heads to college with NC State
Ajani Burchall is set to play college football for North Carolina State.
Burchall was announced as the newest member of the Wolfpack on social media with his signing the latest in a string of high-profile recruits by the college.
The 21-year-old was an academy member at Bournemouth and Aston Villa during his time in England before leaving the latter club in the summer last year.
He recently returned to Bermuda to team up with Remy Coddington and Sincere Hall to launch Trevo Academy to develop young players on island.
Burchall is joining NC State at a good time, with their football team finishing runners-up to Washington in the College Cup last year.
They are also making a habit of recruiting players with European experience after recently signing 18-year-old Adria Munoz, a Barcelona Academy graduate who played in the same team as Spain World Cup winners Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi
