Group A of the Dudley Eve Trophy will go a long way to being decided at Devonshire Rec tonight.

In the only group made up of four teams, Dandy Town and North Village will be looking to stay unbeaten in the competition against Somerset Trojans and St George’s respectively.

Town battled past St George’s 1-0 in their opening match thanks to a David Jones Jr goal and they will look to increase their chances of making it to the knockout stages against a Trojans side that were soundly beaten 5-1 by North Village in their first group encounter.

Trojans are starting to get to grips with Premier Division opposition since earning promotion back to the top flight last season and picked up a point after a 2-2 draw with Devonshire Cougars in their opening league match last weekend.

The Town versus Trojans clash is the first match of a double header at Devonshire Rec, with the action scheduled to start at 7pm.

In the later game with a kick-off time of 9pm, Village will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season against St George’s.
