Carey Olsen partner wins STEP Founder’s award

Keith Robinson, partner and head of the trusts and private wealth practice at Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited, has been presented with a 2021 STEP Founder's Award for Outstanding Achievement.

The awards, presented annually by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, recognise members who have made “an exceptional and outstanding long-term contribution to the society above and beyond that normally expected of a member, through office in their branch, or elsewhere in the voluntary life of the society”.

Mr Robinson, a former chairman of STEP's Bermuda branch, is a member of the branch committee and the editorial board of the STEP Journal which he joined in early 2020 – a role in which he is tasked with representing the Caribbean region and providing feedback on proposed content, ideas for new content and suggestions for potential authors.

Ashley Fife, chairman of STEP's Bermuda branch and counsel at Carey Olsen, said: "I am personally delighted that Keith's contribution to STEP over many years has been recognised by his inclusion on this year's list of Founders' Award recipients.“
