A Hamilton Parish community group will host its fifth annual motivational expo at Francis Patton Primary School this month.

A spokeswoman for Rise Tribe Bermuda, said the event on October 11 is embracing the theme of “I Celebrate Me” with the goal of creating a celebratory atmosphere for everyone who attends.

She added: “We have always had a spa-like vibe — there’s calm music playing and it's a peaceful energy where it feels like you can come to get away from everything.

“This year, we really wanted to take it up a level so people can feel celebrated. We might even end with the Electric Slide.”

The spokeswoman said that Rise Tribe Bermuda was a Hamilton Parish community group, but participants in past years have come from across the island to take part.

Participants this year include Meaningful Existence, Meraki Holistic Solutions, Paradise Scents, His n Hers Hair and Beauty, Choice Era, Island Girl Papercrafter, Signature Laserworks and DJ Cheeky.

The spokeswoman said: “The message of Rise Tribe Bermuda is that ‘humanity has but one unified purpose — love’. How we manifest love may differ, but our core purpose remains united.

“We are immensely grateful for our participants, many of whom are entrepreneurs with big hearts who are willing to support the cause of motivating souls by their kind service.”
