A section of a main commuter road will be reduced to a single lane for two months for repairs to a wall.

The Ministry of Public Works said that work on Harbour Road, Paget, near Lovers Lane, will start on June 7 and continue until August 6.

Work will be carried out between 8am and 3pm on weekdays.

A ministry spokesman said: “The public is advised to avoid this section of Harbour Road between Highwood Lane and Lovers Lane and to use detour routes via South Road and Middle Road.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of the Ministry of Public Works representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals and signage.”
