New speed bumps on Cemetery Road

Public safety message: Sped bumps have been installed near the Belco power plant (File photograph)

Motorists are advised that two new speed bumps have been installed on Cemetery Road near the Belco power plant.

Motorists are being asked to proceed with caution as they travel through the area.

Wayne Caines, the president of Belco, said: “Today we are honouring Safety and Health at Work Day which is observed in countries around the world.

“It’s a timely reminder that safety is our number one priority at Belco – safety of our employees and the public.

“As such, I would advise the public to take extreme caution when travelling along Cemetery Road as there are new speed bumps that have been installed and they may be caught unaware.”
