Hamilton City Hall shuts after power cut

City Hall in Hamilton will be closed to the public for the rest of the day after a power outage.

The power went out at around 2.30pm.

A Corporation of Hamilton spokeswoman said it was hoped that power would be restored by the end of the day.

She added the offices were expected to re-open tomorrow morning.
