Police criminal records office reopens to public

The police criminal records office has reopened to the public.

But anyone who needs a criminal record check is asked to make their application online if possible.

Application forms can be found on the BPS website here.

Applications should include all the required documentation and proof of payment.

People should refer to the application guidance notes here before submission of relevant documentation.

If the submission is on behalf of a registered charity, applicants should refer to the guidance notes here.

The completed paperwork should be scanned and e-mailed to vetting@bps.bm.
