Festive note to be struck at City Hall next week

A special Christmas version of an open air concert series is to be held next week.

The Creatives Live! concert will feature the Bermuda Carollers on the steps of City Hall in Hamilton.

The event, organised by the Department of Culture, will showcase seasonal songs and highlight Bermudian artists.

A government spokeswoman said: “Previous Creatives Live! events have provided an upbeat musical atmosphere in the City of Hamilton and next Friday’s performance promises to do the same.”

Earlier Creatives Live! performances included The Unit Band, singers Joy T. Barnum and Olivia Hamilton, the Tino Martinez Quartet and the Working Title Band.

The event will be held under Covid-19 health and safety guidelines and concert-goers should observe social-distancing rules.

The concert will run between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on December 17.

For more information about Creatives Live! phone 292 1681 or e-mail gsmawer@gov.bm.

Artists who want to be featured in the department’s online catalogue should visit www.creatives.bm.
