Bermuda welcomes first baby of 2022

Bermuda welcomed its first baby of 2022 on Sunday afternoon.

While the Bermuda Hospitals Board said there was not a New Year’s Day baby this year, a girl was born at the hospital shortly after 4pm on Sunday.

A BHB spokeswoman said baby Zara weighed 8lb and 14.6oz.
