Roads in and around Hamilton will be closed when races are held this weekend as part of the World Triathlon Championship Series.

A notice signed by Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch, the Minister of Public Works, said that bicycle races will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6.

It added: “Motorists are advised to use caution and alternative routes, giving priority to cyclists.

“Motorists are also advised to follow directions given by the police and race marshals.”
