Power outage affects 600 homes in Pembroke West

More than 600 homes lost power in West Pembroke on Monday evening.

Power was cut for 616 Belco customers at about 7pm and was restored by 9.20pm.

The outage ranged from Spanish Point to Pitts Bay Road, into adjacent areas of North Shore to Berkeley Hill.

Also hit was an area west of Hamilton from Rosemont Avenue to Par-la-Ville Road and Bermudiana Road.

According to a resident near Sunset Pass, North Shore Road headed towards Spanish Point had been blocked off, with a fire truck spotted attending the area. A query has been lodged with Belco.
