Diversions after trash truck goes over embankment

Police are warning motorists about traffic diversions after a trash truck went over an embankment.

A police spokesman said: “Please be advised there will be minor traffic diversions/disruptions from approximately 11.30am to 1pm today, along Middle Road Warwick due to a crane making its way to the are of Middle Road and Manse Road to remove a trash truck that has gone over an embankment.”

Traffic diversions are in place at the following junctions to keep the area clear and provide safe passage for work crews.

• Middle Road/Manse Road

• Middle Road/Cobbs Hill

The spokesman added: “It would be advised that motorists use Harbour Road or South Road at this time.”
