Three injured in Front Street crash

Three people were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and two pedestrians in Hamilton on Saturday morning.

A police spokesman said the incident happened at about 1.15am near the junction of Burnaby Street and Front Street.

“A local male rider, as well as a visiting male pedestrian and a visiting female pedestrian, were injured,” the spokesman said. “All three were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“At last check, the three injured individuals, all understood to be in their twenties, were receiving medical care at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police said the investigation into the collision was ongoing and being led by Sergeant Dominique Simons.
