RA appoints new director of communications

A former spokesman for the Bermuda Tourism Authority has been named the new director of communications and stakeholder engagement at the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda.

Donn Foggo, a graduate of Brock University, will be responsible for creating and executing a communication strategy based on the RA's core vision and objectives.

In a statement, a spokesman said Mr Foggo’s mandate included “developing a long-term strategy that enhances the RA's commitment to safeguarding the public interest, promoting competitiveness and improving the wellbeing of Bermuda's residents and consumers”.

Abayomi Carmichael, the chief executive of the RA, said: “Donn brings a unique blend of international experience and a deep understanding of Bermuda's cultural and community dynamics.

“His communication expertise aligns perfectly with the RA's mission to promote transparency, innovation and the public interest.

“We are confident that Donn will help advance our goals and ensure that the RA continues to serve the people of Bermuda effectively."
