Multiple-vehicle collision on Trimingham Road

A multiple-vehicle collision blocked Trimingham Road this afternoon near the junction with South Road in Paget, with traffic resuming at 5.20pm.

Police said four vehicles were involved at about 4pm: three cars and a truck.

The male driver of one of the cars, who complained of chest and neck pains, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for assessment but his condition was not believed to be serious.

Traffic was diverted while the scene was processed.
