Some residents without power

More than 300 Belco customers are without power owing to outages.

According to Belco’s website, there are 307 customers without power in Pembroke, Devonshire and Sandys.

The outage list says that earliest outage was at 3.01pm today.

Belco posted an outage alert on its Facebook page, saying: “We are aware of an outage affecting customers in the Montpelier Road/Cavendish Road area of Pembroke Parish.

“Our crew has been dispatched and is working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

“Please exercise caution when driving or riding past our working crews as the safety of you and our team is of the utmost importance.

“We thank you for your patience as we work to restore your power.”

Belco has been approached for more information.
