A school’s annual fundraiser had its largest turnout for the event in school history over the weekend.
Warwick Academy’s Fun Run and Walk welcomed a record-breaking 570 participants on Sunday, involving pupils, parents, school staff and the wider Warwick community.
The event allowed participants to walk or run at distances of five kilometres, three kilometres or 1.5 kilometres.
Funds raised will go directly to the school’s student bursary programme, which offers potential pupils a chance at a Warwick Academy education.
A spokeswoman for the school thanked Lindo’s Group of Companies, Pitt and Company, and BGA for their sponsorship, as well as Jill Finnigan for organising the event.
