Bermuda to mark King’s Birthday on Saturday
Bermuda will celebrate the official birthday of King Charles III with a parade along Front Street on Saturday.
Members of the public can join Andrew Murdoch, the Governor, and other dignitaries at the parade, which will feature members from the Royal Bermuda Regiment and Junior Leaders, the Bermuda Police Service, the Sea Cadet Corps and the Bermuda Reserve Police.
The parade is set to start at 10.30am, traffic will be restricted in the area from early Saturday morning and motorists should follow directions from police and marshals throughout the event.
Mr Murdoch was set to host a reception for the King’s Birthday at Government House last week, but poor weather caused the event to be postponed.
The King’s official birthday is June 14, although his actual birthday is November 14.
