Members of the public have until Friday to review and submit feedback on Bermuda’s National Space Strategy.
A government spokeswoman said the legislation was developed in consultation with the Regulatory Authority and establishes a “proportionate, internationally aligned approach to satellite communications infrastructure, including gateway stations, teleports and user terminals”.
She added: “The framework positions Bermuda to support the next generation of satellite infrastructure and services without compromising on oversight.”
The policy can be viewed at forum.gov.bm. Consultation closes at the end of the business day, Friday, June 19.
