Feedback on space policy to close June 19

Members of the public have until next week to review and submit feedback on Bermuda’s National Space Strategy.
A government spokeswoman said the legislation was developed in consultation with the Regulatory Authority and establishes a “proportionate, internationally aligned approach to satellite communications infrastructure, including gateway stations, teleports and user terminals”.
She added: “The framework positions Bermuda to support the next generation of satellite infrastructure and services without compromising on oversight.”
The policy can be viewed at forum.gov.bm. Consultation closes on June 19.
