A man was understood to be injured on the cliffs at Admiralty House Park this afternoon.

Police and emergency services were at the Pembroke park at about 1.30pm and left the area at approximately 2pm.

One man arrived at the park shortly after the man was apparently injured and saw medical personnel helping him from a cave on North Shore.

He said: “They took him from near the cave, up the rocky steps and into the ambulance — I did not see what happened.”

A couple who had been swimming in another area of the park when the incident occurred said they saw only police and medical staff at the scene.
