Cup Match ribbon campaign dedicated to Family Centre

Every ribbon helps: David Burt, the Premier and Somerset Cricket Club fan, gets a red ribbon from Sandy De Silva, Family Centre's executive director, as Jennifer Wild, left, executive vice-president and chief administrative officer of Clarien Bank, the sponsor of the charity’s fundraising campaign, looks on (Photograph supplied)

David Burt honoured a charity for its dedication to assisting children and families as he presented them with this year’s Cup Match ribbons.

The Premier made the presentation to representatives of Family Centre and sponsor Clarien Bank while at the Cabinet Office.

All cash generated through the purchase of Cup Match-themed ribbons will go towards expanding the charity’s programmes and services for children and families across Bermuda which include youth mental health initiatives.

Mr Burt said: “Family Centre has touched the lives of many children and families in Bermuda through the services and support it provides.

“As we prepare for Cup Match 2026, I encourage the public to purchase a ribbon and support this year's campaign. Every ribbon helps Family Centre continue delivering programmes that many families rely on.”

The annual Cup Match ribbon campaign allows the public to directly support charities’ efforts in the community.
