Starfish take spotlight at BUEI

The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute has invited families to learn more about the humble starfish at its next Kids Hour Saturday event.
The event series, held on the third Saturday of the month, is intended to offer young children a glimpse into marine life through stories and short films.
The August edition will feature a reading of Stella the Starfish by Nikki Sullivan followed by a screening of The Spiny World of Echinoderms from Jonathan Bird’s Blue World.
Kids Hour Saturday will take place between 11am and 2pm. The series is free for BUEI members and costs $5 per child for non-members.
Space is limited, so families are encouraged to reserve a spot online at buei.org.
