The PHC Foundation recently held its 22nd Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony at Chubb Bermuda.

A total of $31,000 was awarded to seven students to support their studies at the high school, college, and university levels. Since its founding in 2004, the PHC Foundation has awarded nearly $600,000 in scholarships to help students pursue their educational goals.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Amir Weller, T’syi Showers, Chavi Pacheco, Kauai Evans, Keyara Signor, Antoinette Barry, and Ja’Shay Trott.

“We are honoured to invest in the future of these outstanding young people through the PHC Foundation Scholarship programme,” said PHC Foundation President Mark Simons.

“Each of this year’s recipients has demonstrated a commitment to achieving their goals. We congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years ahead. We hope this scholarship not only helps ease the financial burden of higher education but also serves as a reminder that the PHC community believes in their potential and is proud to support their journey.”

The awards ceremony was attended by PHC Foundation donors, family members, friends and guests, who gathered to celebrate the recipients' achievements and academic aspirations.

This year’s guest speaker was Keunna Dill, a Pembroke Hamilton Club football player, physiotherapist, and former student-athlete. Drawing on her own experiences, she shared words of encouragement and practical advice with the scholarship recipients, offering insights they can apply throughout their studies abroad and in their future careers.

The PHC Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to its 2026 donors, whose generous contributions made this year’s scholarships possible. Their continued support plays a vital role in helping young people achieve their educational ambitions.
