Overseas experts are coming to Bermuda to share their knowledge about some of the Island’s biggest medical issues.Bermuda Medical Association has teamed up with Tenet Healthcare Corporation in Florida to host the Island’s first medical conference today.More than 60 of the Island’s doctors and nurses will attend the all-day event at the Fairmont Southampton Resort. It’s titled ‘Innovations in Healthcare Delivery.’It will see six overseas experts, from hospitals across the United States, discussing topics such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, wound management, oncology and neurology.Medical professionals who have not registered for the event are still welcome to turn up between 8am and 9am today. The event will continue until about 5pm.
