Turning Point services return to MWI
Substance abuse services will return to the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute next week.
Renovations forced the programmes to relocate to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for six months.
A spokeswoman for Bermuda Hospitals Board said dosing for the opioid treatment programme would move back to MWI on Sunday and outpatient services on Monday.
She added: “To support the relocation to and efficient organisation of the renovated space, Turning Point will only offer urgent, emergency referrals and walk-ins for the first week, from Sunday.
“Normal services, with regular outpatient appointments, including intakes, individual counselling and groups will be available from Monday, March 5.”
Phone and e-mail access will be available as usual throughout the transition period.
