Open house at Turning Point

Bermuda Hospitals Board today invites the general public to an Open House at Turning Point Substance Abuse Programme, which provides inpatient and outpatient substance abuse services on Saturday 22 September 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm. In celebration of Recovery Month in September, the Open House will include tours, videos and opportunities to speak to Turning Point Staff.

Turning Point is located on the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute Campus, and can be accessed from Devon Springs Road, before the junction with Hermitage Road.

Shirley Place, Clinical Director for Turning Place comments: “We offer a range of services including inpatient detox, group and individual counselling and a methadone clinic. We hope by visiting and talking to us, the community will have a better understanding of what is available to them, friends or family members who are struggling with addiction. We are accredited by CARF (the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and recently went through a number of facilities improvements. We are excited to welcome the community to Turning Point to find out more.”
