Collection times for feeding programme

A church feeding programme will offer meal collection twice a week as the island grapples with the coronavirus crisis.The Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church said that it had “a responsibility to be a continued light on a hill for those who are seeking help”. Its feeding programme will open for pick-up only at 5pm on Wednesdays and 3pm on Sundays “to those members in our community who need a warm meal and a friendly face”.Meals can be collected at 43 King Street, Hamilton, HM 19 — the church next to the first station.A spokeswoman added: “We would like to thank our volunteers; without their sacrifice and work, this would not be possible. “As the need is growing, and the numbers are swelling any individuals and corporations that would like the make a donation, please contact Pastor David Steede at theprimeminister@me.com.”
