More than 100 new Covid-19 tests revealed no additional cases of the virus, the Ministry of Health said last night.

A spokeswoman for the ministry said 104 results were received yesterday, but none were positive.

The results mean the number of Covid-19 cases in Bermuda remains at 115, while the number of deaths stays at seven.

The ministry reports there are still 54 active cases of the virus on the island, with 16 patients in hospital and 38 under active public health monitoring.

The number of people who have recovered from the virus remains at 54.

The spokeswoman added: “The average age of all of our confirmed positive cases is 59 and the age range of all of our positive cases is from 18 to 95 years.

“The age of persons hospitalised ranges between 57 and 91 years, and the average age is 76.”
