The number of active Covid-19 cases in Bermuda fell to 15 over the weekend.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said that, of 156 new test results received on Saturday, none were positive.

The total number of Bermuda cases remained at 141, and the total number of Covid-19 deaths remained nine.

Of the 15 active cases, 11 were under active public health monitoring and four were in hospital — none of whom were in critical condition.

The number of people who have recovered from the virus had risen to 117.

Of Bermuda's 141 cases, 41 were imported, 84 were the result of local transmission with a known contact and 11 were local cases with an unknown contact.

The sources of the remaining five cases were still under investigation.

UPDATE: This article was amended to increase the number of active cases from 11 to 15, after the Ministry of Health released a new statement correcting information it provided on Saturday
