Covid-19 update: 232 results, none positive

Bermuda has reported no new positive cases of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health said on Saturday that all 232 test results received were negative, meaning that the island's total of confirmed cases is still 146.

Five cases remain active, including one person in hospital — but not in critical care — and another four are under active public health monitoring.

A total of 132 people have recovered, and nine have died.

The average age of confirmed positive cases is 60, with an age range from 18 to 101. The average age of deaths is 74, with an age range from 57 to 91.

The source of all cases were: 42 imported; 85 local transmission with known contact; 12 local transmission with unknown contact; seven under investigation.

Bermuda's country status remains local transmission: cluster of cases. The seven-day average, real-time reproduction number is below 1.
