All of the 58 Covid-19 test results received by the Ministry of Health today were clear.

The number of confirmed cases in Bermuda remained at 146 and of those, 132 people have recovered.

A Government spokeswoman said that there are five active cases and one person is in hospital but not in critical care.

Nine people with the disease have died.

The spokeswoman explained: “The average age of all of our confirmed positive cases is 60 and the age range of all of our positive cases is from 18 to 101 years.

“The average age of all deceased cases is 74 and the age range is 57 to 91 years.”

A total of 42 confirmed cases were brought in from overseas.

There have been 85 local transmission cases with a known contact and 13 local transmission cases with an unknown contact.

Six cases are under investigation to determine the source of the virus for each.

Bermuda's country status is “local transmission — sporadic cases”.

The seven-day average of the island's real-time reproduction number is below one, the spokeswoman said.
