A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Hospitals Board said the hours will return to 2pm to 10pm on weekdays. Weekend hours will not change and will remain 9am to 9pm.

Dr Chikezie Dean Okereke, BHB’s Chief of Emergency, said: “We urge those with minor injuries and illnesses that are not Covid-19 related to attend the UCC.

“The UCC should not be used to replace the care of your GP. Where possible, individuals should seek care first from their GP. In instances where this is not possible, patients should follow up with their GP after their UCC visit.”
