The latest Covid-19 figures released by the Government online.

Another death linked to Covid-19 has been recorded by health officials, taking the total of Bermuda’s confirmed fatalities to 158.

The figures were posted on the Government’s Covid-19 “dashboard” online.

It showed that two active coronavirus cases were being treated in hospital, a drop from ten recorded last week.

Neither of the Covid-19 patients being treated in hospital was listed as being in the intensive care unit.

A further four active Covid-19 patients were being treated outside the hospital, down from six reported seven days ago.

Covid-19 statistics released online by the Government.

The latest figures show that 18,607 people have recovered from the disease on the island.

Of the confirmed cases, official details show that 4,240 were imported, 6,168 were local transmissions from a known contact or source, 8,292 were local transmissions from an unknown contact or source, and 71 were still under investigation.

With the majority of testing now taking place at home and going unreported, the Ministry of Health has acknowledged in recent weeks that a true picture of Covid-19 cases could not be known.
