Bermuda records two more Covid-related deaths

Two more deaths linked to Covid-19 have been logged by health officials over the past week, raising the island’s total confirmed death toll during the pandemic to 163.

The previous death attributed to the coronavirus came at last week’s update, when a single fatality was recorded.

The Ministry of Health’s update yesterday showed three Covid-19 patients being treated in hospital, with ten confirmed active cases in the community.

The number of people being treated in hospital for the virus remains the same as it was one week ago — while there were seven more known active cases outside the hospital.
