Support agencies to join for information session
Members of the public concerned about their own or a loved one’s drug or alcohol use can hear from several representatives at St John’s Church Hall today.
A spokeswoman said representatives from Focus Counselling, Right Living House, Pathways and other organisations will provide information and answer questions at the event organised by the Department for National Drug Control.
A DNDC representative said: “We want people to know that they do not have to figure this out on their own.
“If you are concerned about your own substance use or you are trying to help someone else, this session is an opportunity to speak directly with organisations that provide treatment and recovery support.”
The session, one of many scheduled to raise awareness during Recovery Month, will take place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
