If you are looking for some Irish atmosphere, celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the Bermuda Folk Club.They are holding their annual Irish music night tomorrow.This year will be the 20th consecutive year for this event. Irish music varies from melodic ballads, to jigs and reels, and includes contemporary composers like Van Morrison, Bill Whelan, The Sawdoctors, and Black 47.The club has a musical line-up that includes the Harrington Sounds Band, Knock On, Scott Neil, Jeanne Flath, Val Sherwood, Peter Haynes, Hewie Watlington, Kevin Stokes, Jacquie Ayres, Charlie Grainge and Rick Hawke. Traditional songs such as ‘Fields of Athenrae’, ‘Wild Rover’ and ‘Whisky in the Jar’ will be performed.The event will be held at the Spanish Point Boat Club. Doors open at 7.30pm and music begins at 8pm. Admission is $10.
