Infrax gets order for wireless infrastructure
A Florida-based operational management, communications and grid security provider has received an order for a complete wireless infrastructure designed to enhance security and communication in Bermuda.
According to the International Business Times, Infrax Systems Inc. has been charged with providing a new wireless broadband infrastructure comprised of approximately 45 Infrax, TMAX 2000 modular base-station routers.
The TMAX 2000 is based on a modular architecture that allows for up to four independent radio modules capable of operating in multiple frequencies and operational routers while simultaneously providing full core networking functionality to the outside edge of infrastructure.
Infrax CEO Paul Aiello said: “This is a high-profile example of ever-changing technologies and represents the depth of solutions available through Infrax Systems to countries around the world. Municipalities may now better serve their residents and visitors through these cost-effective and contemporary communication methods.
“This project represents another growth opportunity for Infrax Networks and is expected to be a springboard for additional opportunities in the region.”
