The Bermuda Monetary Authority has recorded seven new insurance registrations during April.Among the new registrations is Ace’s new $95 million special purpose vehicle (SPI), Altair Re.Altair, along with fellow SPIs, Kiskadee Re ad Sanders Re, also registered in April, became the ninth, tenth and eleventh such registration of the year following the registration of several others since the start of the year.The BMA also registered Commonwealth Annuity and Life Reinsurance Company Limited, a Class C entity, and RenaissanceRe Specialty US Ltd, a class 3B reinsurer.
