ACE recruits eight for Europe team

ACE Group has recruited eight people for its multinational insurance team in Europe as it continues to invest in enhancing its capabilities and service for multinational clients and brokers across the region.Ana Thomas has been appointed to the role of Multinational Service Unit leader for France, ACE said.Working with existing members of the regional team, she will be responsible for setting, enhancing and ensuring the delivery of ACE’s service standards for the multinational segment in ACE’s largest market in the region. She will also manage ACE’s new multinational graduate programme.She has nine years of insurance industry experience and joins the company from Marsh in France where she was most recently responsible for a team of eight handling the placement and coordination of multinational accounts in the middle market segment. Previously she worked for Marsh in Brazil as a client relationship manager. She will be based in Paris and will report to Francois Marion, ACE’s Operations director for Property and Casualty in France and to Clive Hassett, director of Multinational Services for Europe at ACE.ACE said it has also recruited seven graduates as the first cohort of the company’s new multinational graduate programme for Continental Europe, which will be launched this week.The seven graduates come from France, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden and will be working in the Paris regional headquarters initially, before being deployed to other key European markets.During their first year of the two-year programme, the majority of the graduates will be working as international coordinators within the Multinational Service Unit (MSU) team, focusing on delivering various initiatives to maintain and improve ACE’s service for multinational clients and brokers.Joe Clabby, regional president for Continental Europe at ACE, said: “I am very pleased to have Ana on board.
