Private Jet Club, the private jet broker and membership club, is launching a new, by-the-seat service that allows customers to book individual seats on a private jet, without the need to book an entire flight.

Catering to those looking for a cost-effective alternative to traditional private jet charter, customers will travel on a luxury 14-seat, all-aisle, all-window aircraft, offering generous space and privacy, and will even be allowed to travel with their pets in the cabin, subject to certain weight restrictions.

In keeping with the private jet experience, flights will depart from and arrive at private terminals that provide speedy boarding (as late as 30 minutes before a flight) and a swift exit, avoiding the long lines and waiting times of commercial airports. Refreshments and snacks will be provided on each flight.

“This is an exciting new chapter for Private Jet Club as we continue to expand our services and meet our goal of making private aviation more accessible”, said Becky Ezekiel, vice-president of Private Jet Club.

The weekly flight between New York (Teterboro, New Jersey) and Bermuda starts at $2,500 per seat each way for non-members, with a more attractive rate for members (Photograph supplied)

“Our by-the-seat service makes private air travel more cost-effective and convenient, without compromising on luxury and comfort”.

“We understand that while private jet travel is an exceptional experience, it can be costly, and at times a full charter isn’t necessary, particularly with so many people in Bermuda travelling to the same destinations. With our new offering, clients can take advantage of the perks of private travel for just a fraction of the cost.”

By-the-seat will be available to PJC’s members and the wider public. Members will enjoy preferential access and a discounted cost, as well as PJC’s concierge service.

PJC staff handle the entire booking process for members and organise ground transport and special requests, among other benefits.

PJC’s first by-the-seat route is a weekly flight from July 14 between New York (Teterboro, New Jersey) and Bermuda, which will run every Friday, with prices starting at $2,500 per seat each way for non-members.

Members benefit from a more attractive rate.

Flights are open to bookings immediately. The aircraft will leave Teterboro at 9am, arriving in Bermuda at 12pm, and will return at 2pm, arriving in New York at 3pm.

PJC launched in October 2022 and has attracted a prominent and diverse membership of individuals and leading corporate names in Bermuda, the company said.

By-the-seat complements PJC’s core offering of full private jet charters and shared flights which it provides exclusively for its members.

PJC is an air charter broker, not an air carrier and does not own or operate any aircraft.

All flights arranged by PJC will be operated by licensed Bermuda, US or foreign air carriers. The identity of the licensed air carrier operating any flight will be set forth in the relevant contract.
